When each cadet is given an A.I. to assist them, things take a turn for the worse when Megan is assigned Max, a mouthy A.I. that clashes with her daily. As time wears on, Megan realizes she wishes to succeed for the sake of her own pride. Just as things start to look better for her, she finds herself in a vivid dream where she is alone on a hostile alien planet, fending off multiple creatures that want to kill her.
